The Meters (originarios de New Orleans, lo componían Art Neville (keyboards), Leo Nocentelli (guitarra), Joseph "Zig" Modeliste (drums), y George Porter (bajo). Sly & the Family Stone, grupo formado por Sylvester Stewart y un conjunto llamdo the Stoners, que cuando se reunieron formaron los Sly & the Family Stone.Harvey Scales & the Seven Sounds (Broadway Freeze, Pt. 1&2), Dyke & the Blazers (Funky Broadway, el famoso éxito de Wilson Pickett).
Century, Van Harris & the Vanguards, Marvin Holmes & the Uptights, Wee Willie & the Winners, The Marlboro Men, etc.

Funk for me is the style of music that moves my soul is like the connection of all instruments
forming a melody or a single rate.
This approved and funky shown that started with James Brown and "Papa 's Got A Brand New Bag "
but like all types of music could divide into several categories and times :
Not everything will be old songs that will explain to you in this blog, have issues with funky musical
philosophy but more current .

(originating from New Orleans, was made up of Art Neville)
keyboards) , Leo Nocentelli (guitar ), Joseph " Zig " Modeliste (drums ) and George Porter (bass).
Sly & the Family Stone , a group formed by Sylvester
Stewart one llamdo set the Stoners , when gathered formed the Sly & the Family Stone.Harvey

the famous success of Wilson Pickett).
The Black Rock Funky A variation in which we can include Jimi Hendrix, Johnny Guitar Watson,
Funkadelic, Mandrill, etc.
The Funky Soul That as I said the words is a mix of Funky and Soul and where singers like Donny

Gaye, Stevie Wonder, etc .
A funky 70s early 70s came to light a series of bands and singers who made a type of hard Funky
where the string sound abounded above the horn section.
This is the time when groups who never achieved notoriety however if reached Funky composing
pieces that were true masterpieces, sets as lean, 20th.Century, Van Harris & the Vanguards,
Marvin Holmes & the Uptights, Wee Willie & the Winners, The Marlboro Men, etc.
New Orleans Funky Sound Sound from the city of New Orleans, was epitomized by Lee Dorsey.
It was thanks to the union of Allen Toussaint (singer / songwriter) and Marshall E. Sehorn,
who created the stamps "Sansu", "Deesu", "Tou-Sea" which passed by people like Betty Harris,
Lee Dorsey, Warren Lee, Earl King, Curley Moore, etc.
Jazz-Funk The word says it all, a hybrid born somewhere between Jazz and Funk. Its exponents
were, Miles Davis, Herbie Hancock, Quincy Jones, Crusaders, etc. Funk Psicoldelic As its main
exponent P-Funk, part of Psychedelic Funky , Brought to light the musical world by George Clinton
and followed by groups like Funkadelic, Parliament, Bernie Worrell.
It is characterized mainly by their great extravagance in his music and in his concerts and Funky
